Saturday, October 31 · Harmony Middle School Aux Gym · Overland Park, KS
Registration closes 11:59 PM Central, Monday, October 26.
$200 per team · Registration closes October 26 or when your division fills
A one-day 3v3 futsal tournament on Halloween morning at Harmony Middle School in Overland Park, across the street from SBV HQ: Scheels OP Soccer Complex, run by Sporting Blue Valley with Ngozi Gregory and Top Flight Futsal Academy. It is the first futsal event in the school's brand new auxiliary gym.
You bring 4 to 6 players and pick a team name. Your team plays four games against every other team in your division, on two courts, in one gym. First game to last whistle is about two and a half hours, and the rest of Halloween is yours.
Candy, costumes, futsal and fun.
Four games, 64 minutes of futsal, and everything on the court except the shoes.
You play every team in your division, then a fourth game that sets your final place. No knockouts, and no dead games at the end of the day.
Four games at two 8-minute halves. Three players a side with no goalkeepers, so your player is on the ball constantly.
The top two teams in your division play the final. The other two play for third. Every team's last game decides a place.
Arrive 30 minutes before your first game and you are done. Four games, one wave, then home.
Two courts, referees, scorekeeping, futsal balls, goals, and pinnies. Plus your team name on the bracket board.
Bowls of candy to pass out and trunk-or-treat in the parking lot. Wear a costume if you want to. Home in time to trick-or-treat.
Rec players, Premier players, MLS NEXT, ECNL, players from other clubs, and kids who have never touched a futsal ball. There is no tryout and no application to get in. Field four players in the same age group and you are in.
Your player does not need to play for Sporting Blue Valley, or for any club at all. Brackets are by age group, so teams play the kids their own age.
Girls may play on a boys team; that team then plays in the boys bracket. Boys may not play in a girls bracket.
Two courts and one gym cap the schedule at four teams in each age group. Six age groups, 24 teams, and that is the whole tournament. When a fourth team pays in your age group, that division closes.
Your division is set by the age of your oldest player — not the average, not the majority.
Availability is updated by hand and may be a few days behind. Spots are confirmed at payment.
Bring six players. It is cheaper per family, and your kids get subs across four games instead of playing all 64 minutes.
| 4 players | $50 each |
| 5 players | $40 each |
| 6 players | $33 each |
Thirty-three dollars for four games and trunk-or-treat on Halloween morning.
Three steps, about five minutes total.
Team name, division, roster, and your contact info. Takes about three minutes.
You are sent straight to checkout when you finish Step 1. $200 per team. Your spot is not held until payment clears.
Every player needs one before they take the court. We email the link right after payment. Teams with waivers done check in faster.

Enter through Door #9, which faces east. It is the only door that will be open, and it is where check-in is.
The day runs 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM. Your team is only there for its own wave — about two and a half hours.
Everything is indoors, so the weather does not matter. We play regardless.
Sporting Blue Valley Soccer Club, with Ngozi Gregory of Top Flight Futsal Academy.
Everyone working the event is a volunteer. The referees are Sporting Blue Valley student-athletes from the club's scholarship program.
They are kids. All referee decisions are final, and we ask that any concern goes to the scorer's table rather than to a referee.

What we have on site, and what we do if something happens.
Every player wears them, every game. Along with flat non-marking indoor shoes, they are checked at the door.
A first aid kit is kept at the scorer's table all day. There is no athletic trainer on site.
Any player suspected of a head injury is out for the rest of the event, and can only return with written clearance from a licensed medical provider.
The 3-yard no-go arc at each goal replaces the goalkeeper, so no kid is diving at feet in a school gym.

Check in at the front table inside Door #9. One team representative checks in for the whole team.
Arrive 30 minutes before your first game, not at the start of the day. Your exact arrival time comes October 27. Only teams playing in the current wave are inside the building — the gym is small, so families waiting for a later wave wait outside, in their car, or at the soccer complex across the street.
We check three things: waivers signed, roster matches what you registered, and flat non-marking indoor shoes on every player. No shoes, no play — tell every parent on your team today, not the night before.
Watching is free. Drinks, candy and snacks are for sale inside to support the scholarship fund — bring cash, it is the only thing we can take.
Your $200 entry goes into the Sporting Blue Valley scholarship fund. The fund covers what a family cannot: uniforms, travel costs, league registration fees, and insurance.
Everyone working the tournament is a volunteer, and it runs on a holiday morning in a school gym rather than costing more.
The whole day is a fundraiser. Drinks, candy and snacks are on sale inside, cash only, and every dollar of that goes to the fund as well. Watching your player is free.
The referees working your games on Halloween morning are Sporting Blue Valley student-athletes from that program. They are the players the fund keeps on the field.
That is the reason this tournament exists.
Yes. You register as a team of 4 to 6 players. Grab your player's friends, teammates, or neighbors and go.
Text the parents of your player's friends, teammates or neighbors. Four players in the same age group is all it takes, and most teams come together in one group text. We do not match individual players into teams, so the roster has to come from you.
Your division is set by your oldest player. Four U10s and one U11 means you play U11/U12. Not the average, not the majority.
No. Open to any player from any club, or no club at all.
Yes. That team then registers and plays in the boys bracket. Boys may not play in a girls bracket.
No. One team per player, and no guest players. With four teams per division there is no room in the schedule for it.
Every team needs one adult team manager on site for all four games. It does not have to be a licensed coach — a parent works.
We'll move you to the closest division and email you within 24 hours. If you don't want the move, you get a full refund.
Flat non-marking indoor shoes, shin guards, and a labeled water bottle. Costume optional. We supply the balls, goals and pinnies.
Yes, and it is free. Only teams playing in the current wave are inside the building, so families waiting for a later wave can hang out in the lot, head to the soccer complex across the street, or grab food and come back. Drinks, candy and snacks are sold inside, cash only.
Full refund through October 26. None after that — rosters and brackets lock.
Sporting Blue Valley student-athletes from our scholarship program. They're kids. All decisions are final, and we ask that concerns go to the scorer's table rather than to a referee.
The divisions that fill first are always the same ones. If you know you want in, apply now.
Registration closes October 26, or sooner if your division fills.
